eMU – More than a MiŚOT Store

The MiŚOT Store is already known to most, if not all, operators. However, a space is now being created that will combine everything the MiŚOT Store offered with other functionalities. eMU was presented at the 11th MiŚOT Congress in Zakopane.

eMu to ebook MiŚOT services, which means much more than the MiŚOT Store offered. Here, all MiŚOT Group services will appear in one place, and customers – meaning small and medium-sized operators – will have easy access to them. They will also be able to manage what they are using.

An advantage is the ability to set appropriate permissions for individual people, which allows for control over what happens with the services.

–  The eMu system allows you to set appropriate roles in EPID, and the person logging into it (e.g., an employee) will see or not see different services. This will allow you to manage what each person can order on your behalf. – he explained Paweł Białas from the MiŚOT Group.

KameleonTv and KoalaTel in eMU

For KameleonTv, eMu offers quick access and easy management. Most importantly, it will be very easy to connect another client to it, which will speed up service activation.

–  I recently calculated it, and clicking through everything, all the subsequent elements, to get the client's service active takes 17 seconds. – informed Paweł Białas.

Furthermore, the operator has access to a clear summary of who has which services activated, in what quantity, and since when. They will be able to verify this themselves at any time, which also saves time.

–  Currently, you ask us for these things, and we then send you a summary of this data. Now you will have everything in the system. – added the representative of the MiŚOT Group.

The situation is similar with KoalaTel telephony. In eMu, this is also full service and a single system, regardless of whether it is through the Play or Orange network. The operator has transparency regarding the rates they can use.

A question arose from the audience about the possibility of using both networks (Play and Orange), and it was explained that this would require two SIM cards, which is indeed possible. One of them can also be an eSIM.

EPIX appears in eMU

All EPIX-related issues will be sent to eMU, and the operator will have everything in one place.

Not only all services will be visible, but also statistics. EPIX news will also appear, i.e., information about planned technical downtimes or failures, along with what actions are being taken and when full operation is planned to be restored.

It will be easier for the operator to manage activities when they have full access to this type of information. They will immediately see whether a given matter concerns them or if they are using a node that has a planned technical break, for example.

DDoS incidents will also be presented here.

– You'll definitely suggest more things and they'll be added. This will be ongoing programming work. – summarized Paweł Białas.
