Tomasz Brol, an engineer with a pioneer's lineage, a strategist who has been shaping the local operator market for years, and a technology enthusiast who isn't afraid to reach for the stars, has become the Vice President of the Management Board for Technical Affairs at MiŚOT S.A.

Tomasz Brol began his career in 1998 at Pik-Net Sieci Rozległe in Gliwice, where, together with Wojciech Aple and Bartłomiej Czardybon, he laid the foundations of the Polish internet at a time when the network in Poland was still in its infancy. The experience gained during dynamic market processes—from TDC Internet to Netia—became fuel for his own business ventures.

Consolidation Architect and Technology Leader

In 2001, he founded the company SSH, which he developed into a modern operator over the years. His strategic acumen played a key role in M&A processes: it was around SSH, with the investment support of the 3S group founders, that the Syrion group was built. As CTO of Syrion, Tomasz Brol not only managed technology but also actively integrated smaller operators, bringing them into the group's structures and increasing their market value. His work contributed to the success of Syrion's final integration with the Play Group in 2023.

Industry and community voice

The new Vice President of Technology at MiŚOT S.A. is a figure inextricably linked to the PLNOG conference, the most important forum for network engineers in Poland. As a long-time member of the PLNOG Program Board, he co-creates the event's substantive agenda and integrates the IP specialists community. His passion for technology doesn't end with server rooms. Tomasz is a well-known electronics enthusiast and radio amateur in the community who initiated the „From Gliwice to Space” project. He holds the Polish record for altitude in an amateur stratospheric mission (over 42 km!) and is the author of one of the longest amateur flights worldwide. He also realizes himself as a photographer.
