Krzysztof Czuszek on changes, responsibility, and building the Polish internet on the principles of Polish operators

For Grupą MiŚOT, it was a year of decisions that weren't always easy, but were necessary. A year of organizing, investing, and preparing for changes that are already beginning to be visible — and will resonate even more strongly in the coming months. About EPIX, which operates and grows. About the Data Center, which is already attracting partners today. About cybersecurity, loyalty, and responsibility for the common market.

Krzysztof Czuszek, Chairman of the Management Board of MIŚOT S.A., says directly: in this business, it's not just infrastructure that counts. What counts is who builds it — and for whom.

– It was a very intense, yet also fruitful year. We implemented many changes that were necessary to prepare the organization for the next stages of development. We focused on both operational stability and on investments that build long-term value. Looking from today's perspective, I can say that it was a year of real progress and organizational development, not just plans. – emphasizes.

You mention changes. One of them is a new quality of communication with partners and clients. What exactly is changing?

Krzysztof Czuszek: The year 2025 was a time of preparation for changes in our communication as well. For now, they are only visible in selected areas, but already at the beginning of the new year, many more will be noticeable. Among other things, we are working on changing the website misot.pl, as well as ensuring that communication is not only transparent and consistent, but also effectively supports small and medium-sized telecommunications operators and our partners. We want the communication to be useful, understandable, and responsive to specific market needs.

One of the key areas of development is Data Centers. What happened in this area?

Krzysztof Czuszek: In the Data Center area, we took a very concrete step this year. In Jaworzno, there is already fourth node - ECOLOGY, which serves as the new infrastructure hub and will ultimately be the heart of EPIX. The facility is operational— part of our infrastructure has been moved and is working at this location, and the first test partners are already co-locating there. EKOLO is prepared for further development and to accept new clients, offering a stable, modern facility for telecommunications infrastructure.

EPIX is one of the pillars of MIŚOT S.A.'s operations. What changes and investments have been implemented here?

Krzysztof Czuszek: The year 2025 was a time of intense technological changes and operational model restructuring for EPIX. We carried out migration of contracts from the e-South Association to MIŚOT S.A., which simplifies the structure and strengthens the clarity of collaboration.

We launched New low-latency routes, as well as a new route to DE-CIX as part of GlobalMIX, along with the option to purchase DE-CIX alone, without needing to use the full global offering. At the same time, we have lowered the prices for global services — currently All rates are below 0.80 PLN, and for the MiŚOTs we maintained discounted price also for 2025.

We have also introduced Ports with partial use declaration, which provides greater flexibility in cost and development planning. We place great emphasis on acquiring new international participants, which truly strengthens the traffic exchange ecosystem.

And what was the infrastructure and technological side of EPIX and GlobalMix / PolMix like?

Krzysztof Czuszek: This year is also a big technological leap. We have completed router migration from PCs to hardware solutions in this migration to higher hardware models with greater performance. All major POP points have been equipped with router hardware, which significantly increases the stability and performance of the infrastructure.

We continued core expansion, as well as connections to key partners, such as Google and Akamai. Service routers GlobalMix and PolMix have been fully migrated to hardware solutions. In parallel, we are implementing the next stage — change and transfer of infrastructure to the EKOLO Data Center, which will further strengthen operational independence and security.

Cybersecurity is also becoming increasingly important. How does MIŚOT S.A. approach this area?

Krzysztof Czuszek: Cybersecurity is not an add-on to infrastructure today. It's an element of responsibility—both towards partners and the entire ecosystem in which we operate. Therefore, we consistently strengthen our approach to security, focusing on stability, operational continuity, and resilience to incidents. It's a process that demands constant attention, competence development, and adaptation to evolving threats. Our goal is to build an environment where partners can focus on their business, confident that the technological foundations are secure and predictable.

The board plans to propose a dividend payment. What does that mean for shareholders?

Krzysztof Czuszek: The Management Board plans to submit a proposal to the Shareholders' Meeting for the profit distribution for 2025, including the payment of a dividend at the level of 12 process. invested capital by Shareholders. The Company's Management Board's proposal reflects the Company's stable financial situation and the effects of recent actions. This decision is the result of a responsible approach to capital management — on the one hand, we continue to invest in key areas such as infrastructure, Data Centers, and service development, and on the other hand, we care about the interests of shareholders and the long-term value of the company. The dividend proposal is also a signal of predictability and organizational maturity, which allows us to combine operational development with regular returns for capital owners.

EPIX has its own history and a unique place in the market. Why is it important for MiŚOTs to remember this?

Krzysztof Czuszek: EPIX was founded as a built initiative locally, through local operators, with shared interest and long-term market security in mind. This was not an external or imposed project—it was the result of cooperation, trust, and perseverance from many people and companies who believed that The Polish internet can and must be built together.

Today it's worth stating clearly: only within MIŚOT S.A. MiŚOTs invest in their own company. Its own—because it's based on the capital, decisions, and responsibility of this environment. This is not a client-supplier relationship, but a community of interests, where the development of one genuinely strengthens all.

Loyalty to this model is of strategic importance. The Polish telecommunications market is not free from pressure, disinformation, and attempts to sow anxiety. Wolves often disguise themselves as sheep. — Ferment and panic always benefit those who want to weaken local players and break up joint initiatives. That is why it is so important not to give in to emotions, but to stick to facts, values, and a long-term vision.

EPIX and MIŚOT S.A. is a joint project. The more unified we are, the stronger the Polish internet becomes—created by local operators, for local communities. This is a direction worth defending and further developing.

In this business It's not just about the infrastructure. What counts is, Who is building it, in whose interest, and on what principles?. Trust, cooperation, and responsibility create the real power of the market. And a strong, Polish internet doesn't happen by chance—it emerges where there is community, loyalty, and the awareness that we are all playing for the same team.

We are operating today in an increasingly complex geopolitical situation. In this context, how do you perceive the role of MIŚOT S.A. and the entire ecosystem of local operators?

Krzysztof Czuszek: The geopolitical situation clearly shows that telecommunications infrastructure is no longer solely a technological or business matter. Today, it is also an element of state security, economic stability, and social resilience. In such conditions Building and strengthening Polish capital in telecommunications is of strategic importance..

MIŚOT S.A. has operated from the very beginning based on Polish capital and in the interest of Polish operators. This means that decisions regarding infrastructure, service development, or investment directions are made here—locally, with a focus on the long-term security of the market. In practice, this translates to greater communication independence, increased control over key infrastructure elements, and real influence on cybersecurity standards.

By strengthening EPIX, Data Center, and team competencies, we are doing our part to of the Polish internet built on Polish rules. This is not just an ideological stance—it's also pragmatism. The more key elements of infrastructure and knowledge remain in the country, the greater the resilience of the entire system to crises, external pressure, or unpredictable decisions by foreign entities.

Therefore, today cooperation within MIŚOT S.A. is not just a matter of business efficiency. It is also conscious choice for security, stability, and communication sovereignty, which is used not only by operators but by entire local communities.

To conclude, what would you like to wish for our partners and shareholders?

Krzysztof Czuszek: First of all good volumes, stability, and predictability in business. I also wish you calm decisions, sound investments, and satisfaction with the results of our joint work. Another challenging year lies ahead, but I am convinced that if we are well prepared, we can emerge from it stronger.
