The TeleResponsible of the Year 2026 competition is launched!

Small and medium-sized telecommunications companies can once again demonstrate their commitment to local communities. The TeleResponsible of the Year 2026 competition has been launched, the aim of which is to distinguish operators implementing valuable social initiatives. Financial prizes are waiting for the winners, and entries can be submitted until the end of February 2027.

Local telecommunications operators not only provide the Internet and develop digital infrastructure, but also engage in the life of the towns in which they operate. They support education, sport, charitable initiatives and social ventures. The TeleResponsible of the Year 2026 competition is to show the scale of this commitment and promote good practices in the telecommunications industry.

Social responsibility of local operators

TeleResponsible of the Year is an initiative of the Local Foundation addressed to small and medium-sized telecommunications operators who undertake activities beyond their core business activities. The competition is not only intended to reward the most interesting projects, but also to encourage the exchange of experience and inspire other companies to engage in society.

The essence of the initiative is to show that social responsibility is not only the domain of large corporations. MiŚOTs, thanks to close relations with residents and knowledge of local needs, can effectively support projects that have a direct impact on the quality of life of the community.

The competition is also an opportunity to present a less visible side of the telecommunications industry, in which responsibility, cooperation and social commitment are as important as investments in technology.

III. Participant Awards

This year's edition provides financial prizes for the best-rated projects. The first-place winner will receive PLN 10,000, while the second-place winner will receive PLN 5,000. The organizers also award two distinctions, each worth PLN 1,000.

Importantly, each participant in the competition will receive the title of TeleResponsible Year 2026, regardless of the place occupied. In this way, the organizers want to appreciate all the submitted initiatives and emphasize the importance of social involvement of local entrepreneurs.

Submissions by the end of February 2027

Operators interested in participating in the competition can submit their projects via the online form. Each participant has the opportunity to present a maximum of 20 implemented projects, but for the competition evaluation they must indicate one selected project.

The organizers encourage a detailed and specific description of the submitted initiative. The form can also be supplemented with additional materials documenting the project, including photos, Internet links or opinions.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 28, 2027.

The competition is an opportunity to obtain an industry distinction, but also an opportunity to show how important the activities undertaken by small and medium-sized telecommunications operators are for local communities.
