At the same time, for current customers with Mi\u015aOT status, the prices from the 2024 price lists will be frozen, with a guarantee of their immutability until at least the end of the year, and maintaining existing discounts.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a decision that combines financial responsibility with concern for the environment of small and medium-sized operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-transparentnosc-i-przewidywalnosc\"><strong>Transparency and predictability<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The change being introduced involves aligning prices with the levels determined by the price lists in effect in 2026. Its purpose is to standardize settlement rules and ensure greater transparency and consistency in the long term. The new rates will be visible on invoices issued in May for services rendered in April 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The update is a response to the continued increase in the operating costs of the infrastructure, primarily electricity, colocation services, and the purchase and maintenance of network equipment. These factors directly affect the stability and security of the nodes' operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Importantly, EPIX has only made price changes since its inception when necessary to maintain quality and continuous operation. The previous update in 2024 only affected new orders, leaving earlier ones \u2013 even those dating back to 2009 \u2013 unchanged. The current decision is therefore a reaction to real, long-term changes in the market environment, not a short-term measure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-ochrona-misot-ow\"><strong>Protection of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is particularly important to maintain the 2024 prices for operators with Mi\u015aOT status. In practice, this means maintaining cost stability for entities that are building the local market and often operate in smaller centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2013&nbsp;<em>We ensure that EPIX's development goes hand in hand with support for small and medium-sized operators. Maintaining rates for SMEs is a conscious decision. We want them to have predictable operating conditions and be able to plan investments in their networks without the pressure of sudden cost increases.<\/em>&nbsp;emphasizes&nbsp;<strong>Pawe\u0142 Bia\u0142as, Sales and Development Director of the Mi\u015aOT Group<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is a signal that EPIX remains a project built not only around infrastructure, but above all around the community of operators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-nowy-rozdzial-jaworzno\"><strong>New Chapter: Jaworzno<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For years, the EPIX backbone has been based on three pillars: Warsaw, Katowice, and Pozna\u0144. This arrangement enables efficient traffic exchange, particularly on the Warsaw-Pozna\u0144 axis, and has supported the development of operators nationwide. However, growing bandwidth needs and the changing traffic structure have necessitated strengthening the existing architecture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The answer is Jaworzno, a new, fourth node that is starting operations and will become a key element of the network over time. For operators in southern Poland, this means shorter transmission paths, greater stability, and additional redundancy. In practice, this means a higher level of security and infrastructure flexibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-coraz-silniejsze-wyjscie-na-europe\"><strong>Increasingly strong outreach to Europe<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EPIX is increasingly moving beyond local traffic exchange. The developed and expanded Katowice\u2013Prague and Pozna\u0144\u2013Frankfurt routes are becoming one of its pillars. This is a response to the dynamically growing traffic generated by streaming platforms, online games, and global content providers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International connectivity is ceasing to be an add-on to an offering, becoming a strategic element of infrastructure that allows local operators to compete with the largest market players. A thickening network of connections strengthens the resilience of the entire ecosystem and gives partners real tools for further development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-fundament-stabilnosci\"><strong>Stability Fund<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">EPIX's priority remains to ensure a stable, predictable, and reliable service: the foundation for traffic exchange and partner network development.
