TeleResponsible of the Year 2025 contest announced!

During the 10th Jubilee Convention of MiŚOT in Łochów, the next edition of the TeleResponsible of the Year competition was officially announced, an initiative that has been setting the trend in the area of social responsibility in the telecommunications industry for several years now. The competition aims to honor operators who engage in the life of local communities, support education, care about the environment and implement projects with real, positive impact. The organizers point out that CSR in telecommunications is becoming not an add-on, but a permanent feature of small and medium-sized operator companies.

During the event, the power of the industry was also highlighted in a symbolic way. During the Anti-Gala, an auction was held, which was prepared to show the strength of the environment. The auctioned plush, a huge DobroMiŚ, reached the amount of PLN 10,000, which will fully support the statutory activities. - We wanted to show how much we can do when we act together - emphasized representatives of the Foundation at the event. The authority of the Foundation consists of Aleksandra Czerech, Magdalena Drozdowska and Michał Koch. Recent months have been a period of intensive work and further initiatives for the Foundation. One of them was Jaworzno Safety Days, which took place in mid-June. The two-day event combined cutting-edge technology, hands-on workshops and education on physical and digital security. The organizers stressed that demand for such local initiatives is growing, as confirmed by the high turnout. The Foundation also reported an exceptional result of this year's 1.5 percent tax collection. The organization's account received more than PLN 16,000, almost twice as much as the year before. This, observers commented, is clear evidence of growing confidence in the activities carried out by the Foundation and its telecommunications partners. In September, the Foundation became involved in another project of tangible social significance, co-financing the purchase of a stairlift for a person with limited mobility. The new device makes it possible to safely negotiate stairs, so that living on the first floor ceases to be a barrier and daily functioning becomes easier and more independent. Initiatives to support local operators have also been developed in recent months. Together with Mik-Net from Leczna, an advertisement promoting local telecommunications services was prepared and aired at the Górnik Leczna stadium. This activity was seen as an example of effective cooperation between business and community organizations and strengthening of the regional service market. Another project with a strong educational dimension was cooperation with the Web-Korki Foundation from Poznan, which provides free online tutoring for children in foster care and orphanages. The Locals Foundation donated two laptops to the organization, which will be used to continue working with its charges, leveling the playing field and supporting their school progress. The new edition of the TeleResponsible of the Year competition, announced at the MISOT Convention, is to continue this mission. The organizers encourage operators to submit activities that set the standard for responsibility in the industry and inspire others to undertake initiatives of real significance. As emphasized at the event, the coming year will be another step in building a mature, conscious telecommunications sector, in which solidarity, education and concern for the local environment become a natural part of companies' strategies.
